Harley Keasey

Access-Led Practice | Events & Engagement | Writing & Reviews

I design and deliver accessible, adaptable workshops and engagement sessions for a wide range of ages, settings, and abilities. My work can be tailored to specific briefs, audiences and outcomes, from one-off sessions to longer projects.

How I Work

My work sits at the intersection of creativity, care, and delivery.

I work across community engagement, events and project management, creative facilitation and cultural writing, bringing curiosity, empathy and strong organisation to everything I do.

Whether I’m leading a workshop, delivering an event or writing critically about the arts, my focus is always on people: how they experience the work, what they take from it and how it creates meaningful connection.

Curious and Reflective

I work with curiosity: asking questions, listening carefully and staying open to learning. This allows projects, events and workshops to respond to the people in the room rather than following a rigid template.

Empathetic and Access-Led

My practice is grounded in empathy and lived experience. I work with people of different ages, backgrounds, and abilities, designing work that is flexible, inclusive, and attentive to access needs from the outset.

Present and Responsive

I work in the here and now, adapting to what’s happening on the day whilst keeping a clear sense of purpose. This balance allows creative and engagement work to feel alive, relevant and well held.

Advocacy in Practice

I believe creative work can be a form of advocacy. I’m particularly committed to work that amplifies marginalised voices and supports people who are often excluded from cultural or institutional spaces.

Creative, but Structured

I value play, experimentation, and imagination, supported by clear planning and organisation. Strong structure creates safer spaces for creativity to flourish and for events and projects to be delivered smoothly.

Individual Experience, Collective Care

I centre personal experience whilst recognising the importance of collective responsibility. My work aims to honour individual voices while fostering connection, respect and shared ownership.
